About our staff

Dr. Goudarzi  - Dr. Payam Goudarzi is a graduate of Johnson City Senior High School, class of 1988. Dr. Goudarzi received his dental degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine in 1996 and has been practicing dentistry locally since April of 1997, he is the sole proprietor of Goudarzi Dental, and takes much pride in both his patients and his staff.

Dr. Goudarzi is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, Broome County Dental Society, and the Tri-County Dental Society. Dr. Goudarzi is a past President for the sixth District of New York State Dental Association and NYSDA insurance council representative for the sixth district Professional Liability Claims Committee, he is also a member of NYSDA-Medical Liability Mutual Insurance Company underwriting committee, and the immediate past New York State representative to the American Dental Association house of delegates, he also serves as a member of the Insurance Committee and Dental Benefits Committee for the Broome County Dental Society.

Dental Assistant

NICOLE CONNELLY – Nicole joined our practice in March 2008. She graduated from Binghamton High School and attended Broome Community College where she received her AAS in Communications. She is a member of our clinical staff as a dental assistant and also has a background in emergency room triage. In her spare time she enjoys shopping, scrapbooking and cooking.
 

HOLLY DUKE - Holly joined our practice in February 2011. She graduated from Susquehanna Valley High School and attended BCC, where she majored in Interior Design. She is a member of our clinical staff as a dental assistant. In her spare time she enjoys running and working out.

BRANDY SHATTUCK - Brandy joined our practice in October 2009. She graduated from Montrose Jr/Sr High School. Brandy has been a dental assistant for 12 years. She is New York State licensed and certified. Brandy has 2 boys and enjoys spending time with her family.

Hygienist

JENNIFER FIMBRES - Jen joined the practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist in October of 2008. Jen graduated from Binghamton High School and has her AAS in Dental Hygiene from Broome Community College. Jen has a welcoming smile and comforting personality both with her patients and co-workers. Jen enjoys shopping, spending time with friends and family and vacationing.
 

APRIL OLIVEIRA - April joined our clinical staff as a Registered Dental Hygienist in July 2008 and brings in 17 years of experience. April is a long time resident of Broome County. She completed her dental hygiene training at Broome Community College. April has a kind word for everyone and brings a gentle nature to her patients. April enjoys spending time with her horse and going on trips.

TERESA O'CONNELL - Teresa joined our clinical staff as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2006, and brings 22 years of experience. Teresa has a contagious smile and laugh. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family.

Administrative Staff

CHRISTINE LOCKWOOD – graduated from Chenango Valley High School and Broome Community College. She joined the practice in 2002 as an Office Administrator and is now Dr. Goudarzi’s office manager. Chris has a contagious smile and is always warm and welcoming. Chris enjoys the outdoors and loves to shop.

 

BECKY BELLIS - Becky joined the practice in July 2009. Becky trained as a dental assistant and has eleven years of Administrative Assistant experience. In her spare time she enjoys family, friends, and her love of decorating.

CINDY VANDAMIA - Cindy joined our practice in October 2009. She graduated from dental hygiene school, has done dental assisting and is now in the administrative field of dentistry. Cindy enjoys her family/friends and love of all animals.
